4. Enrolment and Participant Accounts
Enrolment is confirmed once payment is received and we send a written confirmation. You are responsible for providing accurate contact information during registration.
- Access credentials for session platforms and material repositories are personal and non-transferable.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login details we provide.
- Sharing access with non-enrolled individuals is not permitted.
- We reserve the right to revoke access if these terms are breached.
5. User Responsibilities
Participants are expected to engage with course material honestly and respectfully. The following activities are not permitted:
- Distributing, reselling, or republishing course Materials without written permission from Algonest.
- Reproducing session recordings or notebooks for commercial purposes.
- Submitting work that is not your own as part of exercises or capstone projects.
- Disrupting sessions or using them to advertise third-party products or services.
- Attempting to access systems, platforms, or data beyond what is provided for course use.
We ask that all participants treat instructors and fellow participants with courtesy during sessions.
6. Payment Terms
All fees are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of applicable VAT where required by Thai law. Payment is due before the first session of a track unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of enrolment.
- Receipts or tax invoices can be requested by contacting us at [email protected].
- Late payment may result in delayed or revoked access to sessions.
- Fees for each track are set out in the course description and your enrolment confirmation.
7. Refund Policy
We understand that circumstances change. Our refund position is as follows:
- More than 7 days before the first session: Full refund, less any transaction fees charged by the payment provider.
- 3–7 days before the first session: 50% refund.
- Less than 3 days before the first session or after the course has started: No refund. You may request a transfer to a future cohort at our discretion, subject to availability.
If we cancel a course, enrolled participants will receive a full refund of fees paid. Refund requests should be sent to [email protected].
8. Course-Specific Terms
The following terms apply specifically to educational courses offered by Algonest:
- Attendance: Sessions are live and scheduled. We record sessions so participants who miss a session can review the material, but we cannot reproduce the live interaction.
- Prerequisites: Each track lists recommended background knowledge. We do not assess prerequisites at enrolment; participants are responsible for ensuring they are appropriately prepared.
- Completion: Algonest does not issue formal qualifications or accredited certificates. Participants who complete a track receive an internal completion record from Algonest.
- Academic integrity: Exercises and capstone projects are for your own learning. Submitting others' work as your own defeats the purpose of the course and may result in removal without refund.
- Software and tools: All courses use open-source tools. Participants are responsible for setting up their own local environments as described in course preparation notes.
9. Intellectual Property
All course Materials — including session recordings, notebooks, slide decks, exercises, and written content — remain the intellectual property of Algonest unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Participants are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Materials for personal study during and after their enrolment.
- This licence does not permit redistribution, resale, adaptation for commercial use, or public posting of Materials.
- Code produced by participants during exercises belongs to them; course infrastructure and template code belong to Algonest.
10. Disclaimers
Algonest courses are provided as general technical education. We make no representations about outcomes that may follow from completing a course, including but not limited to employment, income, or project results.
- Course content reflects the state of tools and practices at the time of delivery. The field of applied AI moves quickly, and some material may become outdated.
- Courses are not a substitute for professional engineering or consulting services.
- We do not warrant that platforms used for session delivery will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Thai law, Algonest's total liability to any participant arising from or in connection with a Course shall not exceed the fee paid for that specific Course.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of data, loss of income, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such losses. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or to any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Thai consumer protection law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Algonest and its instructors from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of this Agreement, your misuse of course Materials, or your conduct during sessions.
13. Termination
Either party may end the enrolment relationship:
- By you: Withdraw at any time. Refund eligibility is set out in Section 7.
- By us: We may suspend or terminate your access without refund if you breach these terms, particularly Section 5 (User Responsibilities).
- Sections 9 (Intellectual Property), 10 (Disclaimers), 11 (Limitation of Liability), 12 (Indemnification), and 14 (Dispute Resolution) survive termination.
14. Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. If a dispute arises, we ask that you contact us first at [email protected] so we can attempt to resolve it informally.
- If informal resolution is not achieved within 30 days, the dispute may be referred to the competent courts in Bangkok.
- Consumer protection rights under the Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522 (1979) and related Thai legislation are not affected by this clause.
15. General Provisions
- Entire agreement: This Agreement constitutes the full understanding between you and Algonest with respect to the subject matter herein.
- Severability: If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under this Agreement without our written consent. We may assign ours in connection with a transfer of business.
- Notices: Written notices to Algonest should be sent to [email protected]. Notices to participants will be sent to the email address provided at registration.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on our website and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. For enrolled participants, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued participation after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
